Hart Island is New York City's Potter's Field.   Civic groups are working to enhance interest in its history and to enable better access to this remarkable site which is at the eastern end of the City past Hell Gate, LaGuardia and City Island.  In company with Historic Districts Council and the Hart Island Project we repeat our July narrated circumnavigation of the Island.  This trip, as are all trips, is free.
